Others run in userland and can be terminated by sufficiently privileged threats. HF runs at a lower level than those threats, where it stays clean and authoritative. There is no agent process for an attacker to kill.
HF runs silently in the background and keeps running until you restart your PC. It's very lightweight by design. If you encounter slowdowns, they're likely driver conflicts or something unrelated to HF. Restart your PC in that case and it should be fine.
Once your invoice is paid, your deliverables go live in your account where you can access them directly. The same information is also sent to your given email address, including a setup guide, download links, and license keys.
Windows 10 and Windows 11 are fully supported across all versions, on both AMD and Intel CPUs.
Each account holds one license type. Basic accounts cannot redeem Premium keys and vice versa, so to switch tiers you create a new account with the new key. Keys are hardware-bound and prepaid. There's no auto-charge and no card stored on file. Renew when you choose, or stack purchases to extend your term.
